CMRIT is hosting Cultura-22.
June 27, 2022: College celebrations are eagerly anticipated by students. The CMR Institute of Technology, located in Bengaluru, held Cultura-22, a prestigious event that united brilliant minds in the field of technology from throughout the country. A total of more than 10,000 students from 150 universities participated in over 50 programs held at CMRIT's ITPL campus over the course of two days. Dr. Sanjay Jain, the Principal of CMRIT, inaugurated the event in the presence of B.N. Murthy, the Vice Principal, as well as the rank holders and gold medalists from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
Cultura-22 is an annual cultural and tech festival that honors and showcases the intersection of technology and art. The festival, held on June 24 and 25, was completely managed by students. The objective of the two-day event was to alleviate students' FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). The primary objective of this event, organized by CMRIT, was to offer a platform for students to showcase their expertise and enhance their self-assurance.
At the Tech Fest held at Cultura-22, students showcased a diverse range of ideas in the fields of coding, circuitry, sustainability, problem-solving, and technology integration.
The Kannada film team was also attracted to this biennial festival. Notable personalities from the Kannada film industry were invited to the Coffee with Cultura, a highly regarded event organized by CMR. During this event, the actors and crew had the opportunity to engage with the students and impart their insights on the art of filmmaking and cultivating an appreciation for cinema.

VTU and Developing Library Network (DELNET) offer digital learning resources and online access to prominent e-Journals and e-Books in the fields of Science, Technology, and Management. KOHA, a software package for Integrated Library Management, is utilized for conducting library operations and facilitating resource sharing among the libraries of the CMR Group of Institutes.
The Institutional Repository (IR) is a digital repository maintained by CMRIT Central Library. It contains faculty publications and offers access to important publications, allowing users to download them.

Food service area
The cafeteria complex is centrally located on the campus and comprises of a Cafe Coffee Day, a covered amphitheater with seating for 150 people, a fully equipped canteen that can accommodate 300 students, and a separate dining area exclusively for staff. The cafe area is additionally furnished with a compact stage and two 42” LCD screens.
Accommodation facility
Hostels are equipped with ample, comfortable rooms, lounges, televisions, magazines, and recreational amenities. The food provided is both hygienic and nutritionally balanced. The students establish food committees to determine the weekly menu. The presence of a resident warden enhances the students' perception of safety and fosters a sense of belonging.
