Karnataka PGCET and KMAT 2023 Updates
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has published the answer key for the Karnataka PGCET on its website. The results for the Karnataka PGCET 2023 are anticipated to be declared around November 2023.
The results for KMAT 2023 are expected to be announced in December 2023, allowing candidates who participated in the KMAT Karnataka exam 2023 to check their scores online.

M.E./M.Tech | Applicants must have successfully completed the qualifying examination or an equivalent examination as specified by the Competent Authority and achieved a minimum overall aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, and Category-I candidates) in all subjects across all years/semesters of the Degree Examination from a recognized institute/university. Provisional applications are open to final year students as well. Applicants are required to possess a valid GATE score. |
B.E. / B.Tech | The candidate must have achieved the specified marks in Physics and Mathematics, as well as Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Electronics, or Computer (40% for candidates in Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B categories). |
MCA | The candidate must have successfully completed a recognized BCA or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or an equivalent degree, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) in all subjects throughout the duration of the degree program from a recognized institute or university. Alternatively The candidate must have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A. with Mathematics at the 10 + 2 level or at the undergraduate level (with additional bridge courses as required by the relevant university). The candidate must have achieved a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC, ST, and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) in all subjects throughout their degree program from a recognized institute or university. At Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, during the academic year 2015-16, 710 students were enrolled, and 715 students completed their studies by 2018-19. Of these graduates, 394 found employment with an average salary of Rs.380,500, while 67 pursued further studies. The following year, 2016-17, saw 711 students enroll, with 741 graduating in 2019-20. Among these, 408 were successfully placed in jobs, earning a median salary of Rs.434,000, and 37 opted for higher education. For the 2017-18 intake, the institute admitted 644 students, and 707 graduated in 2020-21.
