B.E. / B.Tech	The candidate must have successfully completed the 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages. Additionally, the candidate must have achieved a certain aggregate score in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer, as specified, from a recognized Institute/ University.
MCA	The candidate must have successfully completed a recognized BCA or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or an equivalent degree, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) in all subjects throughout the duration of the degree program from a recognized institute or university. Alternatively The candidate must have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A. with Mathematics at the 10 + 2 level or at the undergraduate level (with additional bridge courses as required by the relevant university). The candidate must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, and Category-I candidates from Karnataka) in all subjects throughout all years of the degree program from a recognized institute or university. Provisional applications are open to final year students as well.
M.E./M.Tech	Applicants are required to have successfully completed the qualifying examination or an equivalent examination as determined by the Competent Authority. They must have achieved a minimum aggregate score of 50% (or 45% for SC, ST, and Category-I candidates) in all subjects across all years/semesters of their Degree Examination from a recognized institute/university. Provisional applications are also accepted from final year students. Applicants are required to possess a valid GATE score.
