SRMJEEE 2022 – SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has declared the SRMJEEE 2022 result phase 1 on January 24. The exam dates of SRMJEEE 2022 has been announced for three phases. As per the SRM University B.Tech admission dates, the phase 1 exam was conducted on January 8 & 9. The SRMJEEE 2022 exam date for phase 2 is April 23 and 24, the phase 3 is on June 25 and 26. Applicants can fill the SRMJEEE application form 2022 at the official website – srmist.edu.in. SRMIST application form deadline for phase 2 and 3 is April 18 and June 20 respectively. The exam conducting authority commenced the SRMJEEE 2022 counselling from January 25. 

SRMJEEE exam 2022 will be conducted in online home proctored mode. What is SRMJEEE exam?

SRM Institute of Science and Technology conducts SRMJEEE exam for admission to UG engineering courses offered by the University. SRMJEEE 2022 will be conducted for 2 hours 30 minutes with 125 multiple-choice questions. The questions will be spread over the 5 sections of the exam which include Physics, Maths, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude. As per the SRMJEEE exam pattern and marking scheme, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking.

The University has declared the SRMJEEE 2022 result in online mode at srmist.edu.in. Candidates can check their ranks and scorecard as obtained in the entrance exam through SRMJEEE 2022 result. Note that the university does not declare marks secured by candidates in the entrance test. However, a merit list will be prepared based on the total marks of the candidates.

The authorities will release the SRMJEEE 2022 eligibility criteria on the official website.  The eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE 2022 is basically a set of parameters defined by the exam conducting body that candidates have to adhere to be considered for admission. SRMJEEE eligibility criteria 2022 include parameters like age, qualifying exam, nationality etc.

Nationality :

To be considered eligible for SRM engineering exam 2022, candidates can be Resident Indians, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and PIO or OCI card holders as issued by the GOI.

Qualifying Exam:

To be eligible for SRMJEEE 2022, candidates should have passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.

However, candidates who are appearing in 10+2 in the academic year can also apply for SRMJEEE. It is to note that candidates who have completed both their 10 and 10+2 from NIOS will not be eligible for SRMJEEE 2022.

International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or an A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as subjects from any international school will be eligible for admission through SRMJEEE 2022

SRMJEEE 2022 Age Limit

Candidates eligible for SRMJEEE 2022 must be born between July 1, 2001, and July 1, 2006, i.e, they should complete 16 years of age on or before July 31, 2022.

The institute offers direct admission and scholarships to first rankers of all Central and State boards in India, also to top 1000 rankers of IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sportsperson at National and International level.

Kashmiri Migrants:

The migrants from Kashmir will be eligible for relaxation in SRMJEEE eligibility for admission subject to minimum eligibility requirements as per UGC.

Steps to fill SRMJEEE Application Form 2022 – Online Mode

1st Step: Registration – Candidates have to first register by providing the details required like name, email address, mobile number, etc. Upon successful registration, they will get a mail on their registered email address. 

2nd Step: Verify Email- To activate the account, candidates have to validate the link sent to their mail.

3rd Step: Filling the details – Candidates have to log in with their credentials and fill the application form of SRMJEEE 2022 with the details required. Along with the details, they will also be required to select a minimum of 3 exam centres according to their preference from the list available. Candidates also have to upload their photograph and signature in the specifications prescribed officially.

4th Step: Filling Academic details – Candidates need to furnish all required academic details without any discrepancies.

5th Step: Application  Fee Payment – After checking all the details filled and agreeing to the declaration, candidates have to submit their application form. It is important for candidates to know that for submission of the application form too, they have both options – Online & Offline.

Online Payment- Candidates can either submit the form in online mode by paying the requisite application fee online mode through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. OR

Offline Payment- Candidates can choose to submit the form in offline mode by making the application fee payment through Demand Draft (DD).

For this, candidates have to fill the form in online mode, download it and send it to the authorities with DD drawn in favor of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. It is to note that this application form and DD have to reach the institute before the last date specified. Candidates are required to write their name and address on the reverse of DD and send it to the following address – The Director, The Directorate of Admissions, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu 603203.

6th Step: Upload Documents- In this step, candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per the specifications provided by the authorities.

The admit card or hall ticket of SRMJEEE 2022 will be downloaded by applicants online mode. SRMJEEE 2022 admit card will be only be generated for those candidates who will successfully booked their slots. Candidates will have to download their SRMJEEE admit card 2022 using their credentials and will be required to carry it to the exam hall along with two passport size recent color photographs on the day of the exam.

SRMJEEE 2022- Exam Day Guidelines

• Candidates should reach their allotted SRMJEEE 2022 exam centres at least 30 minutes before the starting time of exam.
• Candidates must carry their SRMJEEE hall ticket 2022 and original Aadhaar card to the exam centres.
• Candidates are prohibited from carrying any personal belongings inside the exam centres including mobile and cellular phones, pagers, palm-tops, Bluetooth devices, or any electronic device which has the potential of being used for cheating or unauthorized communication during the examination.
• Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before the end of the examination.

The exam conducting authority will open the SRMJEEE 2022 slot booking for all registered applicants at the official website. The SRMJEEE slot booking 2022 facility will be available for limited time only. Candidates appearing in the exam will have to book thier slots for SRMJEEE 2022, otherwise, they will not be able to appear in the exam. Since it is an online exam, SRMJEEE 2022 slot booking becomes an important event; the institute will open the facility in online mode. SRMJEEE slot booking 2022 process will be real-time as well as on a first come first serve basis. 

To book slots, candidates have to choose the date and time for the exam as per their convenience. Candidates can enter up to three slots while booking their SRMJEEE 2022 slots. It is important to know that without SRMJEEE slot booking, the admit card will not be generated.

The minimum ranks required for admission is the cutoff of SRMJEEE 2022. Candidates having ranks more than or equivalent to SRMJEEE 2022 cutoff will have more chances of admission in comparison to those who have lower ranks. SRMJEEE cutoff 2022 will be released category wise for all four campuses. The SRMJEEE cutoff will contain opening and closing ranks for each programme offered. The authorities will consider various factors to determine the cutoff of SRMJEEE 2022.

Mode of Counselling: Offline

The qualified candidates of SRMJEEE 2022 will be required to download their counselling call letter by logging in to the official portal. Candidates had to fill their choice of colleges and courses according to their preference and report in person with the documents required in original and pay the fees on the dates specified by the institute. SRM University will conduct SRMJEEE 2022 counselling in online mode for those candidates who will be called for On-campus counselling but could not appear for the same.

SRMJEEE Counselling Procedure 2022

The institute is conducting the counselling of SRMJEEE 2022 by using the following procedure:

Step 1: Registration and payment of tuition fees – Candidates will have to register, fill their choice of colleges and courses and pay the tuition fees of Rs 2,10,000 (inclusive of Rs 10,000 of registration fees and part of first-year tuition fees) through E-pay facility or through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “SRMIST” payable at Chennai.

Step 2: Reporting at the institute allotted – Following the fee payment, candidates will have to report to the institute on the date and time allotted as mentioned in the call letter. Candidates will be called for counselling according to their ranks in the merit list prepared by the institute. There will be different counselling schedule for different SRM campuses.

Step 3: Allotment of seats – Candidates who will be allotted seats on the basis of choice filling, merit and availability of seats will be given provisional allotment letter. After receiving the letter, candidates will have to pay the remaining tuition fees within the time period given, otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.
