XAT 2024 will be directed on Sunday, January 7, 2024. XLRI conducts XAT for the benefit of XAMI. For over 72 years XLRI is directing XAT at all India level to choose the most fitting understudies for the board training. The registration process for XAT 2024 involves several steps, including filling out the application form, uploading photographs and signatures as per specifications, and paying the registration fee of Rs. 2100. Candidates interested in XLRI programs need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200 for each program. The process also allows for editing the application and re-uploading photographs/signatures if needed. Payment can be made using various online methods, and it's crucial to wait for the server's intimation after submitting payment information to avoid double payment

The XAT exam syllabus included the essay writing section till XAT 2018 before the section was removed from the XAT syllabus. However, in XAT 2022, XLRI Jamshedpur reintroduced the essay writing section. The essay writing section is the only descriptive question in the XAT syllabus. With the introduction of this section, candidates can expect an increase of 10 minutes in the total time allotted for the exam. Essay writing is also a broad topic with an infinite possibility of questions. In XAT 2022, candidates had to choose between two given topics while in XAT 2023, candidates had to choose one essay topic from 3 options. XLRI Jamshedpur conducted the XAT 2024 entrance exam online, covering 80 cities across the country on January 7, 2024. The exam took place in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates can download the XAT 2024 scorecard until March 31,2024.
