The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national-level test of management skills that is used to get into MBA programs at 20 IIMs and more than 1,200 B-schools in India. The CAT question paper is split into three parts: Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.
XAT: The XLRI in Jamshedpur gives the XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), a national-level management entrance test for people who want to get into MBA or PGDM programs. It takes at least six to nine months to study for the XAT. The XAT is one of the harder tests for getting into an MBA program, so you will need to put in a lot of time and effort. There are four parts to it: General Knowledge, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and Decision Making.
The All India Management Association (AIMA) gives the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), which is a national-level test for getting into MBA and PGDM programs. The test is given in four different rounds, in February, May, September, and December.
